What is a Superannuation Master Trust?

A Superannuation Master Trust is an administrative platform designed to manage a range of investments that allows you to take control of your retirement wealth. Rather than having many different superannuation accounts and bits of paper everywhere a superannuation master trust allows you to consolidate your superannuation in one place making your administration simple and saving you the needless duplication of fees across multiple accounts. Now you can easily monitor your retirement savings and superannuation. You can access your account 24 hours a day 7 days a week so you can manage your superannuation in your own time. Other benefits include:

  • Comprehensive statements including asset allocation data, holdings summary, income summary, complete transaction history and individual holdings performance summary
  • Access to over 280 wholesale funds
  • Access to 100 or more of the largest securities listed on the ASX
  • One low cost administration fee of 0.92%* (inclusive of GST)
  • No application fees (2020 makes the application fee 0% - a saving of up to 5% versus other similar products
  • Access to DIY financial planning tools
  • Superior old fashioned service- no voice recognition software - you actually speak to a real human being
  • No need to use unwanted or unneeded advisers and incur additional unnecessary adviser service fees.
  • The ability to allow your adviser access to your account on-line so you can pay true fee for service (read hourly professional fee) for strategic advice.

* This is the fee that you will be charged after 2020 rebates 0.36% of the administration fee to your account.

Allocated Pension and Term Allocated Pension

The Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust offers an allocated or term allocated pension. You can invest in an allocated pension or a term allocated pension with superannuation savings to which you have access and certain termination payments you have received from employers.

Allocated and term allocated pensions are similar in many ways. However, there are some key differences between the two and these differences will determine which one is appropriate for your needs and circumstances. For example there are legislated minimum and maximum amounts that you can draw down from an allocated pension. The minimum and maximum limits are determined by Pension Valuation Factors set by the Government. These limits, however, do not apply to term allocated pensions.

Please refer to the Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust PDS for more information on allocated and term allocated pensions.
