  Who is 2020 DIRECTINVEST?

2020 DIRECTINVEST is an Australian owned company that has been providing investors with direct access to investment products since 1997. 2020 provides these services to members of the Australian Medical Association, Engineers Australia and the Australian Dental Association. 2020's mission is to provide investors with the tools and information that allows customers to execute investment decisions in the most cost effective manner. At 2020 we believe that "entry fees are optional" and we empower investors to separate advice from high commissions. Investors can seek advice on an as needed basis and pay only a professional fee (read hourly rate) for that advice. That way investors can be assured that the advice they receive is independent. Until recently 2020 was unable to find a wrap account provider that was willing to deal directly with our customers. With over 80% of new investments being invested via these investment platforms we are pleased to partner with Oasis Asset Management to offer customers what we think is the cheapest, most technologically advanced platform available today. Who is Oasis Asset Management and Oasis Fund Management?

Oasis Asset Management (Oasis), provides a range of services that allows securities dealers like 2020 to distribute a range of customised financial products, specifically superannuation master trust and wrap accounts for retail investors. Oasis Fund Management (OFM) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Oasis Asset Management. Oasis Fund Management acts as the Trustee of the Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust and Operator of the Wealthtrac Portfolio Service and outsources the administration of these products to Oasis Asset Management.

Oasis has a strong commitment to customer service. Oasis has set new standards in service quality for administration providers and closely monitors service quality to ensure continued achievement of its high service standards. Oasis has very cleverly located its service centre in Wollongong, which has a deep base of talented customer service staff. This location results in lower staff turnover, which allows Oasis to have better trained and experienced customer service representatives. As part of its commitment to superior customer service Oasis proudly does not use Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR) telephone technology but prefers to have their phones answered by real human beings rather than automated machines. Oasis is unique in that it does not have its own brand of financial products and are solely focused on providing products and services for dealers like 2020 Funds DIRECTINVEST. Oasis is not institutionally owned and provides greater customisation and product design than any other administration provider.   I am an investor in another Portfolio Service/WRAP account. Can I transfer my investments without selling them?

If you are invested in another Portfolio Service you can transfer your funds "in specie" without the need to liquidate the holdings and repurchase them as long as the funds you hold are available through the Wealthtrac Portfolio Service.

The steps are as follows:

  1. Check the Investment Authority to see if your funds are available through the Wealthtrac Portfolio Service.
  2. If the funds are on the investment list you will be able to transfer the holding "in specie" (without selling them). If one or more of the funds you own is not on the list you will need to instruct your portfolio Service provider to liquidate those holdings prior to transfer and the cash will be transferred.
  3. Refer to the In-specie Transfer Instruction page for detailed instructions.

What is the Wealthtrac Portfolio Service?

The Wealthtrac Portfolio Service is a portfolio management, administration and reporting service. You can purchase any of over 180 wholesale managed funds and any listed ASX security (through the Direct Share Facility) for inclusion in the service. You can access your account 24 hours a day 7 days a week and access reports on the value, performance, income and transaction history. This all-in-one portfolio administration system eliminates the need to track various bits of paper and puts you in total control of your investments. You can choose to invest in any one or a combination of investment options starting with as little as $5,000 (please note a minimum investment of $25,000 is recommended to be cost effective as minimum fees are charged based on a minimum $25,000 balance equating to $217.50 per annum).

How do I apply? How do I invest in managed funds and listed ASX securities?

Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust

The first step is to open an account. You will need to download the Product Disclosure Statement and Investment Options brochure for the Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust. There is no minimum initial investment for the Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust but it is recommended that you invest at least $25,000 as a minimum administration charge applies (see page 20 of the Product Disclosure Statement for details). Complete the Individual Application form and the Investment Authority. The Investment Authority is used the first time that you invest and gives your instructions for the investments you have chosen in a breakdown by percentages (please note that, depending on your account balance amount a certain percentage will be placed in your Cash Account to cover fees, insurance and pension payments if applicable). Once your account is opened and your initial investments placed you will be mailed your username and password in order to access your account on-line and a Customer Reference Number (CRN) in order to make ongoing contributions via Bpay. After your initial investment you would use the Additional Investment form to make any new investments, the Switch form to switch between holdings, the Management Alteration form to permanently change your current investment instructions and the Reweight form to change your asset allocation mix. Share investing is also available to investors in the Superannuation Master Trust with access to the top 100 Australian Stock Exchange (ASX), listed CHESS sponsored securities.

Wealthtrac Portfolio Service
The first step is to open an account. You will need to download the Portfolio Service Guide, Registration Form and Investment Authority for the Wealthtrac Portfolio Service. There is a minimum initial investment of $5,000 -please note a minimum investment of $25,000 is recommended to be cost effective as minimum fees are charged based on a minimum $25,000 balance equating to $217.50 per annum (see the Information and Financial Services Guide). Complete the Registration form and the Investment Authority. The Investment Authority is used the first time you invest and gives your instructions for the investments you have chosen in a breakdown by percentages (please note that, depending on your account balance a certain percentage will be placed in your Cash Account to cover fees). Once your account is opened and your initial investments placed you will be mailed your username and password in order to access your account on-line and a Customer Reference Number (CRN) in order to make ongoing deposits via Bpay. After your initial investment you would use the Additional Investment form to make any new investments and the Switch form to switch between holdings. These forms can also be used to permanently alter your existing investment instructions.

  What is the Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust?

The Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust is a portfolio management, administration and reporting service. You can purchase any of over 180 wholesale-managed funds or shares from the ASX Top 100 for inclusion in the service. You can access your account 24 hours a day 7 days a week and access reports on the value, performance and transaction history of your investments. This all-in-one superannuation administration system eliminates the need to track various bits of paper and puts you in total control of your retirement investments. This is the ideal service for consolidating your retirement assets and eliminating the costly duplication of fees caused by operating multiple superannuation accounts. The Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust offers two different retirement investment products that can assist you in achieving your retirement savings goals and/or provide you with a tax effective income stream in retirement.
 

The Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust is a superannuation service providing you with a convenient low cost way to achieve your retirement savings goals. The service allows you to make personal superannuation contributions and employer SGC contributions. You can also transfer benefits from other superannuation and rollover funds including superannuation payments received when you leave an employer, which are known as "Eligible Termination Payments" (ETP's). It is an ideal product to consolidate your retirement assets and eliminate the expense of maintaining multiple superannuation accounts.
 

The Wealthtrac Allocated or Term Allocated Pension Plan provides you with a regular, flexible and tax effective income stream in your retirement. Investors who have retired from the workforce can convert their superannuation savings from any superannuation rollover fund into a flexible and regular income stream. Payments can be monthly, quarterly, half yearly or annually. You can choose to invest in any one or a combination of investment options starting with as little as $10,000. The Allocated and Term Allocated Pensions share some features in common however there are some key differences between the two forms of income stream.   I am an investor in another Superannuation Trust. How do I transfer/rollover to the Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust?

In order to transfer your Superannuation Account you must liquidate your holdings prior to transfer, if you have not already done so.

Complete the transfer form, and include it with your application. You should also check with your existing fund to determine whether they have their own transfer forms and requirements.

You will need to download the Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust PDS and the Investment Options Brochure, complete the Individual Application form and Investment Authority within the Investment Options Brochure, then forward by post or fax to Wealthtrac.

  Who is the Trustee of the Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust?

Oasis Fund Management is an approved Trustee, which means that it is licensed by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) to act as Trustee for the Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust. Oasis is regularly reviewed by APRA and external auditors to ensure that it complies with regulatory obligations and meets its commitments to efficiently and accurately administer investors money.

  What type of superannuation contributions can be accepted?

The Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust can accept the following types of contributions.

  What is the minimum investment amount?

The minimum initial investment for the Portfolio Service is $5,000 (please note a minimum investment of $25,000 is recommended to be cost effective as minimum fees are charged based on a minimum $25,000 balance equating to $217.50 per annum). The Superannuation Master Trust has no minimum, but it is recommended you invest at least $25,000 as a minimum fee of $320 per annum applies.

  How safe is my money if I invest in the Wealthtrac services?

Westpac Custodian Nominees Ltd, a subsidiary of Westpac Banking Corporation, holds all investors' funds administered by Oasis in the Portfolio Service and Superannuation Master Trust. Oasis provides instructions on behalf of investors to buy and sell assets but cannot access these funds. Oasis is an approved Trustee, which means that it is licensed by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) to act as Trustee for the Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust.   How secure is my personal information?

HOW OASIS KEEPS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION SECURE

The Wealthtrac website (Site) has security measures designed to protect against the loss, misuse and/or alteration of the Information under the control of Oasis.

Authentication and your password: For some areas of the Site, a user name and password are required to authenticate your identity before you can enter those areas. When prompted to generate a password, you should pick one that is not easy for an outsider or friend to guess. For instance, do not use your name or street address, your birthday, or the names of any of your family or pets. In addition, Oasis recommends that you use a combination of numbers and letters, such as: "mhcth45". Your password will be stored encrypted on the Oasis web server, but will not be known by any Oasis personnel. Oasis cannot tell you what your password is, we can only reset your password for you if you have forgotten it or if you think it may have been disclosed to another party. Most security breaches are a result of individual carelessness with regard to their user name and password information. Security breaches can occur because you left your user name and password lying by your computer or you told this information to a friend. Do not share your password with anyone. Oasis will never ask you for your password. If you ever receive such a request from someone claiming to be us, do not give them your password, and contact us immediately. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL): All personally identifiable Information you send us while you are on our secure server is encrypted, meaning that it is transformed into unrecognisable characters until Oasis decrypts it when it reaches us. When you access your account information, Oasis uses a secure server to protect the security of your online transactions. All the data you send to us during a secure session is sent via SSL, the industry standard for sending encrypted information. You can tell if you are on our secure server in two ways: a key or closed lock will be visible in the lower portion of your browser or in the URL of a selected hyperlink. For greater protection of your data, Oasis recommends that you use a web browser that supports 128-bit encryption.
 

Firewalls: All incoming encrypted Information is routed through our firewall, which serves as a gatekeeper for our system. Only data containing the correct authorisation is permitted past the firewall. Attempts to pass the firewall are constantly monitored for suspicious activity.
 

Certification: The site has undergone extensive security testing and has been certified as secure by E-Secure, a Security Consulting company.

  Can I give access to my account to a financial adviser?

At 2020 we believe that at times people may need advice as to strategy or answers to technical questions. The Wealthtrac products allow you to consolidate your personal investments and superannuation assets in a single place. The reporting services allow you to print out your account holdings so you can provide your chosen financial advisers with details of your holdings. Therefore there is no need to give an adviser your password or access to your account. Remember this service is designed with the DIY investor in mind. If you do need advice we suggest you pay a professional hourly fee for advice in order to ensure the advice you receive is independent. As we continue to develop our service our DIY financial planning tools will allow you to store your personal investment data and goals.

  Aren't wrap accounts just expensive portfolio management gimmicks?

In the past wrap products have been financial planner driven, (e.g Macquarie Wrap, BT Wrap and ASGARD e-wrap) and as a result incurred high administration fees and unnecessary adviser service fees. However at 2020 DIRECTINVEST we have designed a wrap product that is investor driven and as such the administration fees are much lower than the other products. The benefit to wrap investors is that, with only one fee and a single statement, it is easier to track expenses and performance. It puts your selection of managed funds into one single investment package. If and when you need advice you are empowered to pay an hourly professional fee for that advice.

  Can you suggest funds that I should invest in that would be suitable to my needs?

2020 is an online financial service and are here to provide you with the tools and information to help you execute investment decisions in the most cost effective manner. We recommend "fee for service" advisers to be accessed when you feel you need advice. 2020 as such does not provide personal financial advice. We have identified some fee based advisers in Sydney and Melbourne and are in the process of evaluating advisers around Australia that meet our stringent professional requirements and are willing to provide advice on strategy and asset allocation on a professional fee based hourly rate.   How do I change my password and personal details?

You can change your password on-line once you have logged into the site by going to the change password section in the upper right hand corner.   Can I apply online or do I have to download a prospectus?

At this stage we do not offer on-line applications but we expect to have this service available in the future.   Do I need to use an adviser to access the Wealthtrac wrap platform?

No you do not need an adviser to access the Wealthtrac platform. For all intents and purposes 2020 is your adviser of record but 2020 does not provide you with advice. 2020 has worked with Oasis to offer these services directly to our customers. Your statement will indicate that 2020 is your adviser. The Wealthtrac products are available through independent advisers but the fee structure is significantly higher. (2020 rebates 0.36% of the administration fee to all of our clients. If you need advice we suggest you seek out an adviser that can provide you with professional fee based advice charged at an hourly rate.

  Are all managed funds and ASX listed securities available through the Wealthtrac platform?

We have a large selection of wholesale managed funds available to investors in the Wealthtrac Portfolio Service and the Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust. There are currently over 180 wholesale managed investment options available. This menu of investment options is constantly evolving. If you are interested in investing in a fund that is not currently available please let us know by emailing wealthtrac@2020DIRECTINVEST.com.au and we will investigate the possibility with Oasis of making the addition. Any additions are subject to investor demand and the respective minimum investment requirements of a particular manager.

Investors can access the Top 100 ASX listed securities via the Wealthtrac Superannuation Master Trust but investors in the Portfolio Service have access to the full range of shares available on the ASX.
